Ms. Hae Kyong Yu is a senior career officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Ambassador, Australian Embassy, Manila.

In Canberra, she served as First Assistant Secretary, Middle East and Africa Division, and held a number of senior roles in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and in the Treasury.

Ms Yu holds a Master of Taxation from the University of New South Wales (2000); a Graduate Diploma in Economics, Australian National University (2005): and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia (1990).
